Welcome to Readstrong Tutoring! I'm Liza Stevens-a passionate reading teacher with over 30 years of classroom experience helping young learners grow into confident readers.  I hold a Master's degree in education specializing in literacy.  I have received extensive training in the Orton Gilligham approach and Direct Instruction.

My tutoring is grounded in structured, evidence based methods that support young readers including students with dyslexia and other reading challenges. I also support students who are ready to move ahead with more advanced literacy skills. I believe every child can succeed with the right tools, guidance and encouragement.  Creating a warm, supportive space where reading feels achievable is at the heart of what I do.

I tutor out of my home classroom, providing a quiet, personalized space for one-on-one sessions that are free from distractions.  This setting allows me to focus entirely on your child's learning needs.
